Adam H. Alexander

Adam Alexander, Analyst and Paraplanner

Adam Alexander is a financial analyst with more than a decade of investment experience. His educational training was at Wheaton College where his focus was on mechanical engineering. Believing that the mindset required for engineering would be ideal for investment analysis, Adam began his career as an analyst for a bond broker-dealer. He appreciated the value of this firm’s philosophy of looking back on past decisions to improve future analysis.

Adam’s second employer handled investments for religious institutions throughout the world. It was here that he learned that investments are not a means unto themselves, but tools for a greater goal. The question: “What do I want this money for?” is essential in directing financial decisions.

Yet, at both of these firms, Adam felt the noble goal of coming along beside clients to help them was subverted by the firms’ need to sell and defend limited investment options.

Adam first met Prairie's founder, Jerry Webb, at a men’s retreat and was amazed at the wide variety of investment choices Jerry was free to make to help his clients, enabling Prairie to build truly diversified client portfolios. This investment freedom brought Adam to Prairie, where he has found a firm that reflects his own desire to help clients fulfill their financial goals.
